Troubleshooting Printing Issues

While our printing system is designed for ease of use, you may occasionally encounter issues. Here are some helpful tips for troubleshooting common printing problems:

  • Webpage Printing Issues: If you are having trouble printing a webpage that requires a login, try saving the page as an HTML file on your computer. Then, upload the saved HTML file for printing using the steps above.
  • Email and Attachment Printing: For emails or email attachments that are difficult to print directly, save them as files to your computer. You can then select and upload these files for printing using the “Browse” button in the printing portal.
Please Note: Library computer workstations do not allow downloading files to the hard drive. Use your personal device for saving files if needed.

If you are still experiencing difficulties, you can also try printing through the Campus Printing website directly, which may offer alternative solutions.

Student ID Card Payment

For UC Davis students, the easiest way to pay is using your Student ID card. When you use your Student ID, your print, copy, and scan usage is tracked throughout the term. Your student account will then be billed at the end of each term for your total usage. There is a minimum charge of $5.00 per billing cycle. However, if your actual usage is less than $5.00, the remaining balance will be carried over as a credit to your next billing period.

Repro Graphics cards are available for purchase from vending machines located at each library location.

  • Shields Library: Vending machine is on the First Level, to the left of the main entrance, near the New Books section.

These vending machines accept cash only. Please note that credit cards and coins are not accepted, and change is not given. It’s crucial to follow the instructions displayed on the front of the vending machine carefully to ensure any additional amount you pay is properly credited to your copy card.

Important: If you do not successfully add the remaining value to your card before the purchase process times out, you will need to contact Repro Graphics at [email protected] to request a credit. Please be aware that credit processing may take several business days.
