Beyond the cover, and definitely between the lines, welcome to Print Run, the podcast that pulls back the curtain on the book and writing industries. Hosted by literary agents Laura Zats and Erik Hane, Print Run offers candid discussions often missing from mainstream publishing conversations.
About Print Run Podcast
Print Run was born from a simple yet powerful idea: to explore the book and writing industries with honesty and a touch of humor. In a world often characterized by industry jargon and overly optimistic narratives, Print Run dares to ask the crucial questions. Why do books still hold significance? What is the role of book publishing in our increasingly digital culture?
From dissecting trends in writer queries to examining the societal impact of the publishing world, Print Run tackles it all. Expect insightful analysis, perhaps a bit of playful mockery, but always a genuine engagement with the topics that matter. Consider Print Run your go-to happy hour chat after a book catalog launch or that comforting glass of wine on a slow manuscript Tuesday. This podcast is for writers, publishers, editors, and anyone who has ever held a book and wondered about the journey it took to get there.
Join Laura and Erik as they delve into everything from questionable book passages to the future of books in the hands of millennials. They ponder important questions like Jonathan Franzen’s affinity for penguins and whether those penguins will be hardcover enthusiasts.
