Once Human Update: Enhanced Gameplay with Bug Fixes, But Photo Sharing Temporarily Paused

Hey Metas, the team is back with a new patch to make your gaming experience in Once Human even better! This update focuses on squashing bugs and optimizing performance, ensuring smoother gameplay as you explore the post-apocalyptic world. Your feedback is incredibly valuable to us, and this patch reflects our commitment to addressing your reported issues. We appreciate you being part of our journey!

Bug Fixes

This patch tackles a range of issues that some of you may have encountered:

  • Novice Server Enemy Attributes: We’ve corrected the attributes of dungeon enemies in certain novice season servers to ensure they are as intended for new players.
  • Photo Upload and Sharing: Resolved the frustrating issue where photos taken in-game couldn’t be uploaded or shared. (Correction: Based on the “Adjustment” section below, photo sharing is actually disabled. I need to rewrite this to reflect the adjustment, not a fix. The bug fix was likely about uploading, but the feature itself is now disabled.)
  • Ladder Climbing: Climbing ladders should now be seamless – we’ve fixed the bug that prevented players from ascending ladders.
  • Melee Weapon Targeting: Enemy targeting with melee weapons has been improved and should now function correctly.
  • Territory Interface Disconnections: Accessing the territory interface should no longer cause unexpected disconnections from the server.
  • Armor Calibration Interface: The calibration interface for specific armor pieces is now working as intended and can be properly assessed.
  • Character Model Distortion: Say goodbye to distorted player-character models! We’ve fixed the issue that occurred when receiving light and heavy attacks simultaneously.
  • Public Crisis Event “Close Encounter: Dakini”: The public crisis event, Close Encounter: Dakini, can now be successfully completed.

Important Adjustment: Photo Sharing Temporarily Disabled

Regarding in-game photo sharing, we have temporarily disabled the photo sharing feature in the game album. Currently, our team is understaffed to effectively review and filter the photos being uploaded. This measure is to ensure a safe and appropriate environment for all players.

While sharing prints (in-game photos) directly through the game album is paused, we understand that many of you enjoy capturing and sharing your adventures in Once Human. We are working on solutions to reinstate this feature in the future. In the meantime, you can still take screenshots using your platform’s native tools and share them externally.

Thank you again for your continued support and understanding. Your passion for Once Human drives us to keep improving the game. If you encounter any further issues or have suggestions, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us.

Stay tuned for more updates, Metas!
