Your Guide to Library Print Services

Printing at the library offers a convenient and accessible solution for everyone needing to print documents, whether you’re using a library computer, your own laptop, mobile device, or even just sending an email. This guide will walk you through the simple steps to utilize the Library Print service effectively.

Printing from a Computer or Laptop

If you are using a library computer or your personal laptop, the web print service is the easiest way to get your documents printed. Here’s how:

  1. Start Your Print Job Online: Begin by navigating to the library’s web print portal: Start here to begin printing. This link will take you directly to the upload page where you can submit your files for printing.

  2. Upload Your File(s): Click on the “Select Files” button to browse your computer for the documents you wish to print. You can select multiple files at once for batch printing. Alternatively, you can simply drag and drop your files directly into the upload area. For larger files, it is recommended to upload them individually to ensure a smooth process.

  3. Configure Print Options: Once your file is uploaded, it will appear in a list. To customize the print settings for each document, click the dropdown arrow located to the right of the file name. This will expand options such as:

    • Number of Copies: Specify how many copies of the document you need.
    • Layout Options: Choose between portrait or landscape layout.
    • Color or Grayscale: Select your preferred print color.
    • Other Settings: Depending on the system, you may find additional options like paper size or double-sided printing.
  4. Review Estimated Cost: After setting your print options, the system will automatically calculate and display the estimated cost for your print job. Review this cost to ensure it aligns with your expectations before proceeding.

  5. Enter User Information and Submit: In the user information section, you will need to enter a name for your print job. This can be your own name, a library card number, or any identifier you prefer, but it must be one word with no spaces. It’s crucial to remember or write down this print job name as you will need it to retrieve your prints at the library’s printing kiosk. After entering the name, click the “Submit” button to send your print job to the library print queue.

Important: Once you submit your print job, it will be held for 2 hours. You must visit the library within this timeframe to release and collect your prints.

  1. Payment and Release: Visit the library’s printing kiosk, locate your print job using the name you provided, and complete the payment process to release your prints. Once payment is confirmed, your documents will be printed.

Mobile Printing via App

For printing directly from your smartphone or tablet, the ePRINTit SaaS mobile app provides a seamless experience.

  • Download the App: Get started by downloading the ePRINTit SaaS app from the Google Play Store for Android devices or the Apple App Store for iOS devices.
Download the app from Google Play

Note: Ensure your device’s location settings are enabled or grant the app location permissions if prompted, as this may be required for the app to function correctly with the library print system.

Printing Emails and Attachments

Printing email messages and attachments is also straightforward. Simply forward the email to the library’s designated printing email address. Choose the appropriate address based on your printing needs:

  • Black and White Printing: [Insert Black and White Email Address Here]
  • Color Printing: [Insert Color Email Address Here]

After forwarding your email, you will receive an automated email reply containing a Release Code. When you get to the library, use this code at the printing kiosk to retrieve and print your email and attachments.
