Accessing Computers and Wireless at WHSC Library

For those who prefer to use their own devices, wireless internet access is available throughout the Health Sciences Center Library. Laptop Checkout for In-Library Use
For enhanced flexibility within the library, current Emory students, staff, and faculty can check out laptops. The WHSC Library offers both Mac and PC laptops for use within the library premises. Importantly, printing is enabled from these laptops, allowing you to work and print from a single device. Laptop loans are for three hours and require an Emory ID for checkout. It’s important to note that laptops must remain in the library at all times and must be returned one hour before the library closes. A late fee of $20 per hour applies to ensure the timely return of equipment for other users.

Located on the Plaza Level (library entrance level), a multifunctional color printer/copier/scanner is available for all your scanning needs. Scanning is offered as a free service, and you have the flexibility to scan and edit documents in black and white, grayscale, or color. Once scanned, you can save files to a USB drive or conveniently email them as attachments, making it easy to digitize and share your documents.
Emory Printing with EaglePrint Stations
Printing at the WHSC Library is facilitated through the EaglePrint system. Black and white printers are conveniently located on both levels of the library near the computer banks. For color printing needs, a color printer is available on the Plaza Level in the copy area.
The EaglePrint system allows you to release print jobs at any EaglePrint station across the Emory campus, providing added convenience. To pay for printing, current Emory faculty, staff, and students can use their EmoryCard. Visitors and affiliates can purchase an Emory guest copy card at the Library Information Desk. When submitting a print job, remember to identify it with your Emory NetID (or guest copy card number) and assign a name to your document.
