However, it printed single-sided, even though I had selected double-sided printing in the settings.

It works reliably the vast majority of the time (around 98%), and the print quality is more than sufficient for my home business and general home printing requirements. The refillable ink system makes it a cost-effective and environmentally friendlier option in the long run. If you are looking for a solid inkjet printer for home or small business use and value cost-effective printing, this Canon model is worth considering, just be prepared for potential minor hiccups with paper tray selection.
