Leopard Print has been a beloved pattern for years, and it’s especially purr-fect for adding a touch of wildness to your Valentine’s Day treats! Over the years, I’ve created countless leopard print cookies, and it’s a design that consistently brings a fun, unexpected flair to any occasion.

Now, let’s be honest, distinguishing between leopards, cheetahs, and jaguars can be tricky! But rest assured, we’re aiming for that classic leopard spot look here. If you’re curious about the subtle differences between these big cats, feel free to ask – I’m happy to share!
What’s fantastic about leopard print is its versatility. It’s not just for Valentine’s Day; it works wonderfully for birthdays, adding a playful, untamed element.

And, as Valentine’s Day approaches, leopard print can even take on a slightly more daring, even a little naughty, vibe, perfect for expressing a bit of playful romance.

I’m excited to share two different methods for creating leopard print cookies. The choice between them often depends on how much time I have.
The first technique, known as wet-on-dry, is excellent for beginners and offers a more forgiving approach.

The second method, my personal favorite when time allows, is the wet-on-wet technique. It’s a bit more advanced, requiring familiarity with royal icing consistencies and a quicker working pace.
